OEM engineering teams
Use us when surface condition affects fatigue, cleanliness, defectivity, aesthetics, or qualification risk, and the drawing alone does not define a working process route.
NovoSurface is in formation
NovoSurface develops bespoke electrochemical post-processing recipes and tooling for precision metal parts made by milling, EDM, additive manufacturing, laser cutting, and related routes.
Who this is for
Use us when surface condition affects fatigue, cleanliness, defectivity, aesthetics, or qualification risk, and the drawing alone does not define a working process route.
Bring us in early when a customer requirement needs a feasible finishing route, supplier comparison, trial plan, or evidence package before the project gets expensive.
We help translate demanding parts into prepared experiments: material, geometry, acceptance criteria, fixturing questions, and the process window worth testing.
We connect surface-treatment trials to measurement, cleanliness, microscopy, fatigue, corrosion, and application context so results become decisions, not loose reports.
What NovoSurface does
The work is practical: choose the surface-treatment route, develop the recipe, design the tooling or masking concept, run partner-lab trials, and turn the outcome into a handover package a customer, supplier, or process house can use.
Clarify what the surface must do: fatigue, cleanliness, burr removal, morphology, corrosion, aesthetics, or demagnetization.
Select acid etching, electropolishing, plasma polishing, or a staged combination, including the supplier or partner logic.
Define coupons, fixtures, masking, electrolyte or plasma conditions, timing, parameter windows, and inspection plan.
Document recipe envelope, do/don't notes, acceptance checks, measurement results, and the next supplier or lab step.
Engagement packages
Assess likely finishing routes before drawings, quotes, and supplier commitments lock in avoidable surface risk.
Work backwards from burrs, recast layers, microcracks, contamination, fatigue loss, magnetization, or reject data.
Develop the practical details: fixture, electrode, masking, electrolyte or plasma route, timing, and parameter window.
Coordinate trials and package the results into a route that can move to a supplier, partner, or next validation step.
